‘Healthy’ Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies
…for your sweet tooth…
- ½ cup whole wheat flour
- ½ cup all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ cup of extra virgin olive oil
- 1/3 cup of brown sugar
- 1 egg white
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract. (I used Baileys instead)
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- ¾ cups rolled oats
- 1/3 cup of organic unsweetened dark chocolate
Preheat oven at 300 degrees.
Combine first three ingredients in a bowl. Then mix all other ingredients in a second bowl. Combine the ingredients of both bowls and mix until doughty texture forms. Mold dough in preferred shape and place on sprayed cooking sheet. Bake for approx 20 minutes or till brown.
Approximately 60 calories per cookie.
